Investigator

Individuals who are licensed as Private Investigators are preferred, however, qualified, inexperienced candidates who meet licensing requirements are encouraged to apply. Previous surveillance experience, college degree, military service, or law enforcement background are a plus.

Candidates must be self motivated and disciplined so that they may work with limited supervision, and must be available for occasional overnight travel. Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of computers and possess the ability to utilize Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. Applicants must have and maintain a valid state drivers’ license in the state in which they reside. Due to licensing requirements and insurability, applicants must not have any prior convictions for criminal offenses, and must have a good credit history and driving record.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of Criminal Background Check.
  • No criminal convictions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have 2 forms of ID (Social Security-Drivers License-Passport-Work Authorization).
  • Drug free and able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must have reliable transportation and active phone or other means of communication.
  • Neat and professional appearance.
  • Security, Military or law enforcement background is a plus.
  • Friendly and professional customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.
Equipment:

All investigators are required to possess a surveillance vehicle, laptop computer, and mobile telephone. All investigators are required to possess a Video Camcorder that meets or exceeds Tri-Starr standards.
